The library of the School of Humanities was established in 1984, and has been the academic resources center of humanities, constructed with the support from SZU. The library has a collection of more than 60,000 books, including traditional classical academic materials, covering philosophy, religion, literature, linguistics, history and other fields. Our collection is known for its high academic taste, covering extensive fields in humanities. It has many large sets of books, and few copies. It is one of the best library in SZU.
The library has a special collection of rare books and a rich collection of books on literature and history, and has also received gifts from institutions and individuals at home and abroad, among which there are many precious materials. In addition to books, there are more than 100 kinds of newspaper and journals, including a small number of journals in foreign languages. The library also provides electronic databases such as the Siku Quanshu, and convenient network search services. The library is spacious, and has ample seats, clean windows and a beautiful environment, which is very suitable for self-study and reading. All data concerning books and journals in the library are accessible through the university library database, and all the books and resources are available to students and teachers.
