The 2025 National College Student New Liberal Arts Practice and Innovation Competition concluded successfully at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Shenzhen University (SZU) distinguished itself, securing a top position among national institutions.
SZU entered the national finals with five teams, all of which won awards: four Gold Prizes and one Silver Prize. With an 80% gold award rate, SZU ranked tied for fourth nationally and first in Guangdong Province for total number of gold medals. The university’s journey to the finals was marked by a 62.5% advancement rate from its eight nationally recommended projects, placing it tied for tenth nationally in finalist numbers.
These outstanding achievements underscore the pivotal role of SZU's School of Humanities. As the primary organizer for the university-level competition, the school oversaw project incubation, coordinated provincial and national participation, and demonstrated strong leadership in fostering interdisciplinary integration.
This success is a vivid reflection of the School of Humanities’ sustained commitment to advancing New Liberal Arts education.
