From November 14 to 16, the 16th Symposium on Genre and Language Style was successfully convened at Shenzhen University. The event was co-organized by the Editorial Office of Contemporary Rhetoric (Fudan University), the College of Chinese Language and Culture of Jinan University, the School of Humanities of Shenzhen University, and the School of Foreign Languages of Qilu University of Technology, with Shenzhen University serving as the host institution.

The symposium attracted over 70 paper submissions and brought together scholars and experts from more than 50 universities across China and abroad. During the conference, 13 invited scholars delivered keynote speeches across three plenary sessions. All participants further engaged in six parallel panel discussions, presenting papers and exchanging insights on various topics.
