A significant step in academic cooperation was taken as Shenzhen University (SZU) signed a memorandum with St. Joan’s School from India.
The signing ceremony and subsequent discussions, hosted by SZU's School of Humanities, brought together key representatives from both institutions. In a written address, SZU Vice President Chao Naipeng expressed hope that this partnership would build a stronger bridge for cultural exchange between Chinese and Indian youth and open new avenues for mutual learning. Ms. Debjani Ghosh, in her remarks, invoked the vision of the great Bengali poet and philosopher Rabindranath Tagore for an Asia connected by understanding and intellectual exchange.
After the ceremony, delegates engaged in substantive discussions on implementing the MoU and visited significant cultural sites on campus, including the bronze statue of Tagore and the Tan Yunshan Sino-Indian Friendship Gallery in the university library.
