On December 7, a forum on postdoctoral talent cultivation and research collaboration was held at Shenzhen University’s Huidian Building. Participants included Wang Zilin, Executive Director of the Palace Museum's Palace Museum Studies Institute, and Chen Qiusu, Director of the Research Department, alongside 14 experts and scholars such as Gong Xinqi, researcher at Renmin University of China’s National Academy of Development and Strategy and Deputy Director of the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies, Huang Chen, Director of Shenzhen Museum, and Zhu Jianjun, Director of Shenzhen Art Museum. Also attending were Wu Baoshui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shenzhen University, and heads of relevant departments, schools, and research institutes from the university.
During the opening ceremony, Wu Baoshui emphasized the potential for interdisciplinary collaboration between Shenzhen University’s Chinese Postdoctoral Research Station and the Palace Museum in areas such as integrated talent cultivation, joint laboratories, and international academic publications. Yi Ling, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Humanities, highlighted the commitment to fostering versatile talents in cultural heritage and innovation through cooperation with the Palace Museum. Wang Zilin praised the progress of Shenzhen University’s Palace Museum Studies Institute over the past eight years, noting its role in advancing Palace Museum studies and promoting Chinese civilization.
The forum also featured keynote presentations from five experts, who shared insights from various perspectives on postdoctoral development and collaborative research.
