On October 10, Shenzhen University hosted first Chinese Postdoctoral Academic Symposium and Humanities Young Scholars Conference. The event was organized by the university’s School of Humanities and Chinese Language and Literature Postdoctoral Research Center.
Scholars and experts explored topics including "New Liberal Arts" development, interdisciplinary research, and postdoctoral training. Keynote speakers shared insights on disciplinary frontiers and talent development, while focused discussions addressed discipline building, doctoral programs, and faculty recruitment.
Young scholars presented research on digital humanities, cross-cultural studies, Lingnan culture, and AI in literature, highlighting innovative and interdisciplinary approaches in the humanities.
