On the morning of June 28, the School of Humanities at Shenzhen University (SZU) held its 2026 Graduation and Degree Conferral Ceremony at the Yuanping Gymnasium. The event was attended by over 700 guests, including faculty, staff, graduating students, and their families.

The ceremony was presided over by Dean Ma Zili, with the presence of Secretary Yi Ling, Vice Deans Xie Xiaoxia, Liang Liyong, and Fung Chun Ho, Student Affairs Head Li Shizhuo, and Assistant to the Dean Dong Li. Special guest Prof. Bidyut Chakrabarty, former Vice-Chancellor of Visva-Bharati University, also attended the milestone event.

During the ceremony, Dean Ma Zili delivered an address to the graduates. Vice Dean Liang Liyong read the decision to commend outstanding graduates, after which Secretary Yi Ling presented them with honorary certificates. Vice Dean Xie Xiaoxia announced the decision to confer doctoral and master’s degrees, with Dean Ma conferring the diplomas. Subsequently, Vice Dean Fung Chun Ho announced the decision to confer bachelor’s and honorary bachelor’s degrees, which were also conferred by Dean Ma.

The School extends its warmest congratulations to the Class of 2026 and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
