On July 14, the School of Humanities at Shenzhen University officially launched the 2025-2026 Sino-US Joint Training Program for International Chinese Language Teachers in a hybrid online and offline format. The program is led by Dr. Zhu Qinghong from the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, in collaboration with Western Kentucky University and The Pennsylvania State University in the United States.

This initiative aims to strengthen international cooperation in Chinese language education while enhancing the intercultural communication and teaching competencies of Shenzhen University’s undergraduate and graduate students majoring in this field. The launch event included an introduction to the program and preliminary training for participants.
